Washington, D.C. Field Trip 1994

July 22nd, 2008

I have a lot more, but these are the first batch I scanned. If you would like higher resolution scans of any of these, let me know.

I believe you all remember Slap.
I *believe* everyone in this picture is still alive.
Dolly!
A rare high school picture of Joe without a box of Cheez-Its.
Matt Drane is not amused.
I real Bruins fan wouldn’t be caught dead in a Sharks sweatshirt.

Too…much…flash.
Mike wants to ride the carousel.
But no one wants to ride with Mike.
Seth is thrilled.
Asses.
Find the hidden Seth in this picture.
A far off shot of Slap.
I really don’t remember riding that carousel with Cliff.

REM at the Great Woods Tweeter Comcast Center 6/13/08

June 16th, 2008

Third row seats, nice cool night. The National must have come on at 6:45…I got there at 7:15 and missed their entire set. Modest Mouse was MUCH more energetic than the set I saw last summer (same venue).

REM was just about perfect. Well balanced set list, lots of energy and THIRD ROW! I finally remembered to bring my digital camera, now that the venue has pretty much given up on controlling them.
Pictures and set list below!

SETLIST:

Living Well Is the Best Revenge
Begin The Begin
What’s The Frequency, Kenneth?
Circus Envy
Man-Sized Wreath
West Of The Fields
Ignoreland

Mexico Trip 2008 Details

November 12th, 2007

The Peacemakers play on Saturday October 11.

I’m thinking of heading to AZ either Wednesday (10/8) after work or Thursday (10/9) as early as possible. Once I get a rough idea of who’s going, I’ll figure out what kind of condo we’re looking for down there.

While we’re in Tempe/Phoenix, the Cowboys will be playing the Cardinals, so that’s a possibility too. The NBA season will have just started as well.

Future Planning! (2008 Trips)

November 12th, 2007

Hi people -

The 2 trips below are DEFINITELY happening. Details are still being finalized, but both are set in stone. Just giving a heads up so those interested can reserve dates.

I’m also planning on a 2-day trip to NYC sometime in December. Just a quick trip to see the city decorated for x-mas and maybe do some shopping.

April 18-20 - New York Comicon (www.nycomiccon.com)

This is a comics/pop culture convention in NYC….it’s a 3-day event…really fun. There are tons of celebrities and activities. Highly recommended!

October 11 - Peacemakers in Puerto Penasco, Mexico (www.azpeacemakers.com, www.puerto-penasco.com)

The Peacemakers are playing on 10/11, but we’ll be there for an extended weekend. Still working out details on how many days in AZ, how many days in Mexico, etc…but most of you know what this trip entails by now.

I’ll post more info as I get it!
